United held at home by Swansea

Sigurdsson left ManU without the three points. The best news was Juan Mata’s return to the squad after the surgery. He could play some minutes next Thursday in the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Manchester United dropped two points against Swansea at Old Trafford (1-1). A result that, although continues with United unbeaten run, is a setback for their hopes to finish in the positions that give access to the Champions League. Rooney, from the penalty spot, scored the first for the local team, but Sigurdsson made the equaliser in the 79 minute, leaving Mourinho’s men with no time for reaction.

The result is a setback in a very positive weekend for Juan. The Asturian returned to the squad after recovering from the inguinal hernia surgery. He even warmed up, but didn’t come on the pitch finally.

Mata’s return to ManU day-to-day work is great news thinking of the first leg of the semi-finals of the Europa League. At Balaídos, Juan can be an important factor for the Red Devils.
