A big week
Last Saturday we got a solid victory at Goodison Park, always a tough stadium to get the three points. I think the score reflects the good work the team did. We managed to take our chances despite Everton’s strong start and pressing. The first goal was very important, and with the second one things were going in our favour.
Looking for the best finale
Today I’m writing from Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, where this Monday we finish the Euro 2016 qualifiers. As you know, we have gone through some difficulties but the last few wins gave us the ticket to France, where we will have the chance to defend our back-to-back titles of the last two editions.
The good streak ends with disappointment
It’s not easy to write today and to find words of encouragement after a game like this, but we have to carry on. As you could see, everything went wrong in the first half. Before the game, our goal was to keep the top spot of the Premiership, but it wasn’t our day as we saw from the kick off.
It’s been a great week!
These are happy days. That’s the feeling I’ve had during the entire week, since things have gone pretty well lately. It’s only the start of the season, but I believe that we deserve to enjoy such a good moment like this, and keep training hard to extend the good streak for a long time…
A WIN DEDICATED TO LUKE SHAW
I’ve just got home from Southampton. I’m very happy for a victory that takes the team to the second position, allowing us to finish the week in a much better way that we started it, after the first game in the Champions League group stage.
