A double joy
This is one of those days when there is no need for words. As you know, it’s been more than two years since I write this weekly blog and I enjoy it a lot, but sometimes I find it difficult to choose the right sentences to express how I feel. Well, this is one of those times.
Perfect evening in Old Trafford
This happy Sunday gives us strength to start a new week. It was a very important victory in order to finish in the top four, since Tottenham is also in the same race. It was arguably our best first half of the season. In those 45 minutes we got three goals and we could have scored some more.
FA Cup night
Today I’m writing from the pre-match hotel. As you know, we are playing Arsenal this Monday night, a game we are very looking forward to. We hope to do well and get the ticket to Wembley.
A very demanding month
Here in Manchester you still can’t say that Spring is coming, but we are already in March and we know we are getting closer to the decisive weeks of the season. We will need to give everything in the next games to get our goals; for a start, the day after tomorrow against Newcastle in the Premier League, and next Monday against Arsenal in the FA Cup.
No time for mourning, let’s carry on!
As you can imagine, especially those who read this blog week after week, this is one of those days when writing is a bit complicated, following a tough defeat. The week had had a good start, winning in the FA Cup and getting to the next round -when we will be facing Arsenal- but did not finish the way we expected.
