Heading into 2019 strong
It’s the last day of 2018 and the last post of the year. The win against Bournemouth on Sunday, our third in a row, helped us all to enjoy a great Christmas period. There are a lot of games in a short space of time and it isn’t easy to manage them, but I believe we are playing at a high level.

I would like to start my penultimate blog post of the year by wishing all of you who celebrate it a Merry Christmas. As you all know, despite there normally being a break for the holidays, we don’t stop.

Two special days
Today I am writing to you between two special days. The first was on Saturday, when we beat Fulham and enjoyed a great game. On a personal level I enjoyed myself, felt good and I felt as though the crowd at Old Trafford did the same. After the game I was told that I had reached both 50 goals and 50 assists in the Premier League, it’s a great stat.
Not the time for posts
Unfortunately, I feel as though it isn’t the time for posts. I imagine, and understand completely, that you will not want to read words that, although honest, won’t be of much comfort to you.
