When goals come from the stands

I guess that you’ll be more up for reading this post than you were a week ago… It’s only normal, it’s the same for me writing it. Saturday’s win was special, without doubt, not only for how important it was but also for how it came about.

It is not the time for posts

Today, my blog post is shorter than usual. In fact, it isn’t really a time for posts. I want to thank all of you who support us during these tough times. I understand your frustrations.

Welcome back, Sir Alex

Allow me to start today’s blog by sharing how the whole world of football felt about Sir Alex Ferguson returning to Old Trafford on Saturday. It is great evidence of how he has recovered and it is great news for Manchester United.

Champions League is back

This Monday is the start of a special week. The Champions League is back and we are really motivated to have a great campaign. I love the Premier League, as you are all aware, but we also all know that the Champions League is a huge European tournament and the best club competition in the world, where every team searches for that ultimate glory.

Get well soon, Luke

After spending some time back at home in Asturias, visiting family and friends, I’m starting the week feeling good. As you all know, we’ve had a few days that are different to the norm, as there aren’t any domestic games, so we’ve made the most of being able to train hard during the week and then rest at the weekend.

Football’s engine

I know that you will be a lot more excited to read this blog post today than you would have been a few days ago. A win helps breeds confidence, so all of us will be starting the week feeling a lot better, without a shadow of a doubt.
