Against Wolverhampton, Juan took three shots and gave two key passes. It was the player who created the most danger to Ruddy’s goal from the start (shortly after the whistle, an excellent pass to James could have been 1-0). Juan brilliantly finished in the 67th minute chipping the ball with a great class over Ruddy after Martial´s pass. It was the action that decided the game. At the end of the 90 minutes, Mata completed 91% of his passes and was chosen Player of the Match by the Manchester United fans. “We take the FA Cup very seriously because it is a very special competition and for me personally I really like it,” Juan told MUTV. “Hopefully we can keep going in this competition and I hope we can play at Wembley again.”
The next appointment for Solskjaer’s men will be on Sunday 19 January, in their visit to Anfield. United is precisely the only team that has been able to take points from Liverpool this Premier League (drew at the Old Trafford game).
