On May 1st Juan Mata enjoyed ‘Juan Night Only’ , an event organised by Western Sydney Wanderers at Commbank Stadium. It was a beautiful initiative in which Juan went through his career with a group of 300 fans (there was a ‘no tickets’ sign) , with the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session and have photos taken with the world champion.
The event was full of emotional moments. In a relaxed atmosphere, Juan explained his vision of football today, reviewed some anecdotes from his career and shared his perspective on how sport can change people’s lives.
