Del Bosque has called Juan for the matches against Slovaquia and Macedonia. Both are crucial for Spain’s path towards France’s Eurocup.
Juan Mata returns to Spain’s national team. United’s player has been called by Vicente del Bosque for the qualifying matches against Slovaquia in Oviedo (5th September) and Macedonia in Skopje (8th of September). This is an acknowledgement to the excellent form Juan is currently, a protagonist in his team in this starting of season.
For Mata, who hadn’t been called by Spain since Brazil’s Worldcup (on his last appearance he scored against Australia), the happiness is double. The match against Slovaquia, crucial to get to the Eurocup, will take place at the Carlos Tartiere stadium in Oviedo, a city in which Mata grew up both in a personal and a footballistic way.
With the satisfaction of having hammered Brugge and been called by Del Bosque, Juan will play this Sunday against Swansea with top moral (16, local hour).
