Manchester United started its pre-season tour of the United States last Monday. Van Gaal named a 26 man squad for the trip including Juan Mata, who played all the matches of the International Cup one year ago, a trophy that the Reds won last summer.
Juan Mata’s team will play four matches during the stay: against Mexican Club America, San José Earthquakes, FC Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain. For all the dates, please check Manchester United’s offical website.
“It was unbelievable to see last year how many supporters we have in the United States. It’s amazing to feel the States are with us. I think it’s very nice to know that the American fans are trying to learn more about the history of the club and we really, really love them” said Mata.
