Juan Mata’s Western Sydney Wanderers secured an important win with a 2-1 victory against Perth Glory. It is the Wanderers’ third away win of the season and brings them closer to the top of the A-League table (Australia).
The game got off to an early lead thanks to an own goal after just four minutes. Juan Mata played at the heart of the team, helping both to get the ball out wide and to create goal scoring opportunities. In the first minutes of the second half, a goal for each team left the score at 1-2, which would not change until the end.
Juan Mata played 63 minutes, with a 91% passing accuracy, including five key passes that created scoring chances. He was the most outstanding player of the match in this respect.
