The short-film will be screen in the section of the San Sebasti\u00e1n Film Festival dedicated to Human Rights on Friday (19.00 pm).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Juan Mata sees the football as a way to transmit values and help others, beyond his professional career. It is common for him to support different social initiatives. The last one, his collaboration in the short-film &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cineyderechoshumanos.com\/2016\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=15&amp;Itemid=15&amp;ide=45570&amp;lang=es\" target=\"_blank\">El Mundo de Mao<\/a>&#8216;, that will be shown in the official section at the opening day of the 14th San Sebasti\u00e1n Film Festival this Friday at 19 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The short-film, directed by Pablo de la Chica, tells the story of Mao, a Ugandan youngster that suffered, as thousands of children of his generation, the consequences of a military conflict in the north of his country. Mao does not speak, he expresses himself through football. He is a fan of both Manchester United and Juan Mata. In the short-film, Mata gives his views on the influence of football in the human development of people and creating a better society.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the project is an advance of a longer documentary about the same subject that will be screen soon. &#8216;El Mundo de Mao&#8217; lasts 12 minutes and it has been shot in English with subtitles in Spanish. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cineyderechoshumanos.com\/2016\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">The Human Rights Film Festival<\/a> takes place in San Sebasti\u00e1n, the European Capital of Culture 2016.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-video\" data-lang=\"es\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"es\">&#8216;El Mundo de Mao&#8217;. \u00c9l no habla. \u00c9l juega al f\u00fatbol. &#8216;The World of Mao&#8217;.
