The straight relationship that Juan Mata has with Wembley updated itself with a new conquest in the temple of English football. Manchester United won the EFL Cup after beating Southampton (3-2) in a match that was decided during the last minutes. Ibrahimovic and Lingard scored on the first half, but two goals from Gabbiadini evened the match. On the 87′ Ibra scored again to put the final 3-2.

Juan, who was in the starting eleven, lifted his third cup as a Red Devil. The two previous titles were won also at Wembley (FA Cup 2016 and Community Shield 2016). Also, as a Chelsea player, he won another title at Wembley (FA Cup 2012). Four finals played at the impressive stadium and 4 titles won. There can’t be more efficiency.
