That made the Spaniard a natural choice to present the award on a truly special night filled with memorable moments at the Manchester Opera House.  <br \/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It\u2019s a very special award because it\u2019s voted for by the players themselves,&#8221; stated Bruno. The Portuguese star registered an incredible 21 assists last campaign, setting a new record in the modern Premier League era. Meanwhile, Manchester City\u2019s Khadija Shaw scooped the PFA Women&#8217;s Players&#8217; Player of the Year award.
