Manchester United eased past Crystal Palace 1-3 at Selhurst Park in the midweek game of the Premier League. Lukaku with two goals (mins 33 and 52) and a late goal from Young (min 83) sealed the victory for United, the ninth in the last 11 league games. This impressive run leaves the Red Devils just a point off the places of Champions League, an unthinkable situation a couple months back.
Ward scored for the Londoners in the 66 minute and added a bit of spice to the game until Young’s late goal. United’s next challenge will be this Saturday at Old Trafford against Southampton.
