I am genuinely curious and motivated to embark on a new path in my financial investments, with the aim of aligning them, as far as possible, with my values.
I start this process with the intention of learning and experiencing first-hand that this type of investment, which is intended to generate a positive social and/or environmental impact as well as financial return, is not a future promise: it is a reality.
I firmly believe that we live in a key moment, in which philanthropy alone is not enough to address all the challenges ahead of us. Impact investment capital has a role to play as well, and I intend to be part of this mindset change.
What
Impact Investing are investments made with the intention to generate positive, measurable, social and environmental impact alongside with financial return.
Why
We have te opportunity, and I would almost say the obligation, to generate a flow of investment that considers social and environmental impact in addition to financial return in our society and our planet.
How
My ‘Impact investing‘ journey will be supported by several complememtary steps
Training
Through courses, literature, articles, conversations with experienced impact investing professionals, agreements, events, etc. Together with my team and partner organisations, we will select key materials and content in order to become, over time, advanced students of the sector, and share them.
Networking
I will expand my network of contacts to be able to interact with investors and professionals of reference in the sector, with the intention of learning, contributing, and collaborating both in investments and in continuing to make impact investment in a sector that is becoming more and more well-known and standardised by all.
Investing
We will identify different funds, projects and organisations that are open to an injection of capital and have a marked social commitment, where in addition to measuring the financial results we are able to clearly measure the social impact generated.
Platform
We will create an organisation that will enable all those who wish to do so, the ability to train in this sector, network and invest with the objective of 'Doing well by Doing good'.
