Juan Mata’s Western Sydney Wanderers achieved a stunning victory (0-4) against Central Coast. The three points took the Spaniard’s team to 10 out of the last 12 in play and moved them up to fifth place in the table.
The game began for the visitors with a 1-0 lead from Sapsford, who took advantage of a poor clearance from the home goalkeeper after just six minutes. Clisby, Milanovic and Antonsson, from the penalty spot, completed the rout. Juan Mata played the last 20 minutes of the game, scoring a 100% passing success rate (18 out of 18) and confirming that his muscular problems are over.
