Juan Mata, alongside Blind, Herrera and Young, were the stars in an spectacular event organised by Adidas.
Juan Mata, accompanied by Daley Blind, Ander Herrera and Ashley Young, took part last Tuesday in an event fantastically orchestrated by Adidas. As part of the act, the players flew by helicopter over London and enjoyed a football-tennis match with two ‘freestyle’ specialists.
Blind uploaded a picture on Instagram in which he appeared with Juan Herrera and Young in front of the helicopter. The aircraft took them to Brixton Base where Adidas mounted, in front of a large audience, a football-tennis match. In the peculiar duel, Juan and Ander faced Blind and Young. Each pair had the assistance of a ‘freestyler’ and the attendees enjoyed some spectacular points.
Adidas, new Manchester United sponsor, took the opportunity to show the away outfits, the Red Devils will wear this season. During the match the players wore a white t-shirt and black shorts.
