Juan Mata has been named A-League Player of the Month fpr January. The asturian player continued his great start to the season as he showcased his creative talents to help Melbourne Victory climb up the A-League ladder.
Mata has played in all five of Melbourne Victory’s games during January, accumulating eight assists in his last ten games to lead the attacking unit of his team. His eight the most of any player for the club since Leroy George’s 14 in 2017/18, according to Opta.
