The Spaniard played all 90 minutes against a tough rival. Wolfsburg awaits in Germany on Tuesday.

Juan Mata’s Manchester United drew at Old Trafford (0-0) against West Ham. The added point lets them equal City on the table, but the Leicester and Arsenal’s wins leave both teams ahead of United. Juan played all 90 minutes and he was accurate in passing again (83%).

Mata was a starter again after 15 matches being it on the Premier. His quality and associate capacity are very necessary for united, a team that suffers against well organized defences. Nevertheless, Juan’s talent – who invented a couple of passses to the rival box- and of his attacking teammates was unable to put down a team that seemed very serious and competitive. Bilic’s eleven could’ve got ahead on the first half, but David De Gea and the posts avoided it. On the second half, however, United have enough chances to score. Lingard, Martial and Juan tried to beat Adrián but couldn’t.

Effectiveness against the rival’s goal will be tested again in Germany this Tuesday. Wolfsburg will demand United’s best form as they can get knocked out of the competition. Everybody has Juan’s performance of last match in mind.
