United defeated Man City in their first match of the International Champions Cup. Both teams wore the busy bee of Manchester as a tribute to the victims of the attack of May.
Manchester United is on a good streak in USA. After beating LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake, the Red Devils won 2-0 against Manchester City at the NRG Stadium of Houston. This match was United’s first match of the International Champions Cup, the prestigious summer tournament in which they’ll have to play against Real Madrid and Barcelona as well.
Lukaku (37′) and Rashford (39) scored against the citizens. Both teams paid their tributes to the victims of the May attack in Manchester wearing the busy bee on their shirt, a symbol of Manchester. Juan, meanwhile, remains recovering of his ankle injury.
