Manchester United secured a slot in the last sixteen of the EFL Cup after winning Northampton away by 1-3. The Red Devils killed the game in the second half thanks to goals from Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford. Juan Mata was on the bench but did not play. Manchester City awaits in the next round (at the end of October).

ManU next game will be this Saturday at Old Trafford (12:30). Leicester, current champion of the Premier, will be the rival. Same team they played in the Community Shield in August, so they hope for the same result.
