United loses to Chelsea in the FA Cup final

Hazard from the penalty spot scored the final 1-0. The Red Devils, with Juan Mata on the pitch, looked for the equalizer until the final whistle. The match put an end to ManU season.

Manchester United could not beat Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup. A goal from Hazard, from a penalty, gave the victory to the London team at Wembley (1-0). The Red Devils pushed hard until the end trying to score the equaliser, with Juan Mata at the helm in the last attacks, but they could not beat Courtois.

Juan, who came on the pitch replacing Phil Jones, was on the verge of conquering the FA Cup for the third time in his career. The Wembley stadium, in which he had won four titles, was not a talisman on this occasion, and Manchester United closed the 2017-18 season without the joy of lifting the Cup.
