Juan Mata is sponsoring, one more year, the V Solidarity Surf Day, to be held this Saturday in Gijón. The aim of the event is to integrate people with disabilities and raise funds for two associations (Galbán and ALS Asturias).
Juan Mata sponsors once again a wave of commitment. The one all participants will form at the V Solidarity Surf Day, which will take place on Saturday 2 July in Gijón. The initiative uses sport as an integrator while raising funds for two associations. Juan lends his image to broadcast an event with which he feels very identified, although his professional obligations does not allow him to attend the different activities.

It is expected that the initiative will gather, on the beach of ‘San Lorenzo’ and the ‘Jardines del Náutico’, more than 100 people. The program, which will run from 11 o’clock until 9 pm, will include the second annual surf contest for people with disabilities, in addition to therapeutic massages, games, concerts, zumba classes and crossfit. The awards ceremony will close the day.
The money raised throughout the day by ‘Surf Solidario’ (non-profit organization founded in 2012) will go to the ‘Asociación Galbán’ (Families of Children with Cancer of the Principality of Asturias) and the Association of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) of Asturias.
