Western Sydney Wanderers secured their fourth straight victory with a 4-2 win over Melbourne Victory, climbing to third place in the A-League table.
Juan Mata’s side led a remarkable comeback in front of 10,000 fans at CommBank Stadium. The visitors took a 2-0 lead by the 41st minute, but a crucial goal from Kraev just before the half-time sparked the fight back. In the second half, the hosts completed their comeback with goals from Borrello, Milanovic, and Antonsson, with Mata already on the pitch.
With 16 points out of the last 18, Western Sydney Wanderers are the A-League’s in-form team. After the international break, Mata’s team will head to New Zealand for back-to-back fixtures against Wellington and Auckland FC.
