ManU beats Swansea at Old Trafford and gets three vital points. Juan was a starter and played the whole match. He completed 90% of his passes and shot four times.
United started 2016 with an important win on the Premier. Van Gaal’s men, with Juan Mata as a starter, impose themselves to Swansea at Old Trafford (2-1). The Spanish footballer was very effective when passing (90%) and he even shot four times against the Welsh goal.
On the first half, the Red Devils had many problems to generate opportunities against a very defensive Swansea. Juan starred some of the chances for Man United during this first half. He shot a couple of times but Fabianski’s goal wasn’t compromised. Ashley Young’s depth throughout the wing let the Asturian move to the centre and leave the wing for the English international player.
Martial’s goal allowed United to break free and they started having more spaces to attack. On the 65′, Juan tried again but his left foot shot wasn’t on target. On the 70′, Sigurdsson scored the equaliser but on the 77′ an incredible Rooney scored the final 2-1. This score gives some oxygen to United on the Premier, as they await Sheffield United on the FA Cup.
