Juan Mata opened the score at Old Trafford but Arsenal scored the equalizer during the last minutes. The Spaniard, a very important player for current’s Man United, performed quite well today.
Juan Mata’s Manchester United ended the match against Arsenal (1-1) without reward. The Red Devils managed to score the first goal with a great goal by the Asturian but the score got even on the 89. Old Trafford witnessed Juan Mata’s good performance against the Gunners. The match proved how important Mata is for Mourinho’s United. During the first half he menaced Peter Cech’s goal with a free kick and especially a great left foot shot that made Cech give the best out of him.
United got ahead on the 69′. Pogba assisted Ander Herrera who gave a pass to his back for Juan’s shot. Number 8’s shot while running got into Cech’s goal. Mata’s goal proved his crowning moment with that goal. On the 85 he was substituted by Schneiderlin.

This is Mata’s fourth goal against Arsenal in the Premier. Only Norwich (five times) has suffered more of Mata’s accuracy. As the match ended he said to the media and MUTV that he was disappointed. But he said that good results will come if they keep on playing like that.
