An end to an unbelievable streak

After 13 wins and 2 draws in Premier League and FA Cup, Manchester United were defeated at the Emirates against Arsenal (2-0). On Saturday, they’ll have to play against Wolverhampton with the FA Cup semifinal at stake.

Manchester United lost their first match in Premier League since the arrival of Solskjaer. The Red Devils had add up 13 wins and two draws, in Premier League and FA Cup, in the last 15 games. An unbelievable streak that is even better with their pass on to the Champions quarterfinals, but a streak that ended today at the Emirates. Arsenal, thanks to goals from Xhaka (32′) and Aubameyang (69′ penalty), beat Man United on the 30th game week of the Premier League.

Juan Mata remains recovering from his injury but he has now started training with his teammates, which are excellent news to help the team as soon as possible. Now, the most immediate aim is qualifying for the FA Cup’s semifinals. On Saturday they’ll have to visit Wolverhampton Wanderers with the intention of getting on to the next round of the oldest club competition in the world.
