Manchester United victory over Watford 3-0, leaves them in fifth place, three points from fourth. On Thursday, Juan Mata and his teammates will fight for a place in the last 16 of the Europa League.
Manchester United swept aside Watford at Old Trafford in game-week 27 and added the second consecutive win in the Premier League. The result places the Red Devils on top of Tottenham and three points off Chelsea, fourth.

Before the match, Manchester United paid tribute to Harry Gregg, historic goalkeeper for the Red Devils who passed away a few days ago. The locals broke the deadlock just before the break thanks to Fernandes, who was fouled inside the area scoring his first goal with United from the penalty spot (1-0).

Deeney’s goal in the minute 52 was ruled out for a hand ball in the build-up, but United get over the shock thanks to Martial (58 min) and Greenwood (75 min), that finished the game.
Juan Mata, who played the complete game on Thursday, was on the bench and did not play a single minute. The Spanish international could be in the starting XI for the second leg of the last 32 against Club Brugge.
