ManU started with a good pace and it did not take long until United approached Mignolet´s goal with danger. Juan had one of the first chances with a volley that went wide. 10 minutes later Martial scored from the penalty spot, a goal that boosted the morale for a while.
Mata, as usual showed his pass effectiveness but he was not involved in any of the decisive actions. The elimination leaves United with the FA Cup (where they will play the replay against West Ham) and the Premier (with the fourth place so close).
