For the first time, Juan Mata has participated in the ‘Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie‘ (‘International Hall of Luxury Clockmaking’), celebrated in the Swiss locality of Geneva. The Asturian assisted to the gala as the ambassador of IWC Schaffhausen, a Swiss brand of luxury watches. There he met several famous people like Xabi Alonso, ex-teammate in the Spanish national team.
Throughout his Social networks, Juan has shown his satisfaction for attending the SIHH for the first time. The event, that has just celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2015, is already consolidated as a reference exposition. In it, IWC have displayed their new collection of Pilot watches. Apart from these kind of events, Mata’s collaboration with the Swiss brand also helps solidarity matters as in the ‘Jóvenes Atletas’ case, sponsored by the Fundación Laureus España and Special Olympics.
