Juan Mata, protagonist in Carrick’s tribute

United beat Watford (1-0) with an assist from the international Spaniard. Red Devils ended the 2017-18 Premier with 81 points. Next Saturday against Chelsea, they have the FA Cup final.

Juan Mata returned to the starting eleven of Manchester United in the last game week of the Premier and performed decisively. Red Devils beat Watford at Old Trafford (1-0) thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford after an assist from Juan. The win makes United end the League with 81 points, 4 points beyond Tottenham (third in the table).


United got to 1.000 Premier games and celebrated it with a good score thanks to what happened on the 34′. Mata controlled the ball magnificently after a pass from Carrick and gave the ball to Rashford, who scored at an empty goal. Apart from this assist, the international Spaniard created some danger actions, in combination with Alexis Sánchez, and gave three key passes (the best in the match regarding key passes).
