Manchester United trashed Club Brugge (5-0) and is already among the 16 best in the Europa League. Juan Mata disputed the complete game. He made six key passes and assisted the second goal for the Red Devils.
Manchester United is already in the last 16 of the Europa League. Juan Mata, in the starting XI, played the 90 minutes and swept aside Club Brugge 5-0 at Old Trafford.
The 1-1 from the first leg gave the advantage to the English team but did not get carried away. United went for the game from the beginning. Juan started playing in the right, but, in the last stretch of the match, he changed his position to play in midfield. In the first minutes, he tested Mignolet with a shot. Shortly after, a great effort from Bruno Fernandes hit the post. Precisely, the way the Spaniard and the Portuguese have linked up originated some of the most beautiful actions of the game. In one of them, in the 34th minute, Ighalo finished the ball crossed by Juan. It was the second of the night. The 1-0 was scored in the minute 27, thanks to a penalty taken by Fernandes. The penalty meant Deli´s red card and paved the way for the Red Devils.
