Mata makes a Manchester United comeback

Juan, fully recovered from the injury suffered against Liverpool, made his comeback for the Red Devils and played the final minutes of the FA Cup match that ManU lost to Wolverhampton (2-1).

Manchester United lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers (2-1) in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup. The goals from Raúl Jiménez (minute 70) and Diogo Jota (76) made complicated the qualification for the Red Devils. Marcus Rashford goal in stoppage time could not avoid the defeat.

Juan Mata, recovered from an injury suffered against Liverpool, reappeared with United in the final stretch of the match. He replaced Matic in the 86th minute, when the score was 2-0 already and with no time to influence the result.

After the international break for national teams duty, ManU will return to the competition on 30 March, against Watford at Old Trafford. Then another Premier League game (against Wolverhampton, on 2 April) days before the first leg of the Champions League, against Barcelona at Old Trafford (10 April).
