A brilliant free kick from Juan Mata launched Man U to a tremendous win (3-2) that seemed impossible in the first half. Newcastle was winning 0-2 during the initial minutes. In the Premier League, nobody has scored more free kicks than Mata since the Asturian came to the competition.
With a brilliant performance from Juan Mata, Manchester United came back at Old Trafford against Newcastle (3-2). The international Spaniard laid the foundations of a spectacular reaction from the team with an incredible free kick for the 1-2. It was on the 70th minute and Man U, pushed by their crowd, recovered their faith.
8 – Since his Premier League debut in August 2011, Juan Mata has scored more direct free-kick goals than any other player in the competition. Hope. #MUNNEW

The beginning of the match was horrible for United. Kenedy and Muto scored on the 7′ and 10th minute and provoked Mata’s entrance to the pitch. On the 19′, he came in for Bailly. With the Asturian on the pitch, Man U’s offensive game improved although the score didn’t move until the second half. After the 1-2 from Mata, Martial only took 6 minutes to even the match with the equaliser. Alexis on the 90′ scored with a header a goal that meant a arduous win for United.

In United’s twitter account they mentioned Mata as possible Man of the Match. Apart from his great goal, his passing accuracy was also very high (91%). Mata and teammates will come back to the competition after the international break. Chelsea awaits on October 20.
