Juan scored in stoppage time of the first half. Martial was fouled on the edge of the area and Mata converted from free-kick. Mata´s left foot did the rest. A smart free-kick impossible for the keeper, Leutwiler. Mata and Smalling, who scored earlier in the game, help United ease in to the quarter-finals.
In the second half, Lingard scored the 3-0 just before Mata was replaced by Andreas Pereira. Juan left the pitch with a 91.5 % pass accuracy and a goal. Also the fans chose him as the MVP of the game. ManU will face West ham in the last eight at Old Trafford.
