Manchester United needed the victory in the Europa League after their defeat in Rotterdam and did not fail. With Mata as a starter, the Red Devils beat Zorya Luhansk 1-0 at Old Trafford thanks to a goal from Ibrahimovic in the 69 minute. Juan, who played in the centre again, was one of the best of ManU.
United needs Mata’s best version to have more criteria in attack, and Juan has to play a more centred role to give that version, playing behind Ibrahimovic and with Rashford and Lingard on the wings. Mata proved again he is a key player in Mourinho’s offensive system. Juan was involved in most of the offensive actions of his team and also helped in defense. Old Trafford valued his work and gave him an ovation when he was replaced by Young.
