Manchester United will be on the FA Cup Quarter Finals. On the last sixteen stage, Solskjaer’s team thrashed Derby County at the Pride Park Stadium (0-3). Juan Mata was on the starting eleven and he played with the captain armband. The international Spaniard played the whole match and assisted on the third goal.

The tie against Derby, apart from the reencounter with an old legend of United like Wayne Rooney, served as a revenge for the EFL Cup elimination of last season (a match in which Mata scored a goal). Shaw on the 33′ and Ighalo with a double (41′ and 70′, this second one thanks to an assist from Mata) were the ones who scored for United.
