Juan Mata´s ManU debuts in the Europa League this Thursday against Feyenoord. The game will take place in Holland, country where Mata conquered this competition back in 2013. Of all the players at United, just De Gea and Juan has lifted the trophy.
Juan returns to a special competition for him. Manchester United debuts in the Europa League against Feyenoord at De Kuip (19 pm). Earning the three points will be the best way to leave the defeat in the derby behind. Mata, who won the tournament back in 2013 while at Chelsea, will try to conquer his first European trophy with United.
Juan is motivated to face a tournament that brings him back great memories. In the 2012-2013 season, in which he achieved the best figures of his career (19 goals and 35 assists), lifted the Europa League trophy after helping the team with a goal and five assists in Chelsea´s road to the title. In the final, in Amsterdam, against Benfica (1-2), in the same country in which he will play tomorrow, Juan was involved in the goals from Torres and Ivanovic. Juan took the corner-kick that ended the decisive goal from the Serbian defender, when the match was heading for extra time.
