Juan Mata came on the pitch in the 66 minute and this time he could not score although was the protagonist of the best chance for United. In the 76 minute Fellaini set the ball for Mata who took a great shot but this time the ball bounced off Cleverley. The 0-0 was definitive despite Juan and his team-mates opportunities in the last minutes of the game.
After this special tribute is time to focus in trying to win the first title of the season, the Community Shield this Sunday at Old Trafford and against Leicester, the big surprise of the European football last season. Juan will have the chance to win his second trophy in less than three months.
