Manchester United lost to Midtjylland (2-1) in Denmark after the Danish side fought back the initial goal from Depay. Juan started the game and had a couple of chances.
United lost to Midtjylland (2-1) in the first leg of the last 32 of the Europa League. Juan Mata was in the starting XI and played 78 minutes and had a couple of chances to score, one on each half. In the first half, Andersen saved Mata´s shot, and in the second the Spanish player headed wide a Depay´s cross.
Despite the Red Devils lost De Gea in the warm-up, took the lead thanks to a goal from Depay but the Danish team scored the equaliser just before the half time and scored the second goal in the minute 77. Right after, Andreas Pereira replaced Mata, after that ManU did not have any goalscoring opportunity in the remaining time.
Next Thursday at Old Trafford United will fight to overcome the result to reach the last sixteen of the competition. Kick off at 20.05 local time.
