United continues to win

United trashed Bournemouth 5-2 at Old Trafford. Bournemouth became another victim of an unrivalled Manchester United since the return of the competition. Their last defeat was at home against Burnley on 22 January. Juan Mata came on the pitch in the second half.

Manchester United extended their unbeaten run after comfortably beating Bournemouth 5-2 at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have won four games and a draw since the resumption of all competitions and moved up to fourth on the Premier League table, just three points adrift from Leicester´s third place.

Juan Mata played the last stretch of a game that did not have the expected start. Stanislas’ goal put Bournemouth ahead in the 15th minute. The Red Devils’ reaction was impressive. Greenwood, Rashford and Martial overcome the result before the interval. King, from the penalty spot, spiced the score at the beginning of the second half, but Greenwood again and Bruno Fernandes made the final 5-2.

Manchester United’s last loss dates back to 22 January. Solskjaer’s men will seek to extend their unbeaten run next Thursday against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
