Manchester United lost in its visit to Bayern Munich (1-0) in the last test of the pre-season. Juan Mata started a game that was decided with a goal from Javi Martínez. United’s number 8, who has started in five of the six friendlies played by United, disputed 63 minutes. The match against the Bavarians was played in a special scenario for Juan. The Allianz Arena where he lifted the Champions League, back in 2012 with Chelsea.

On Friday 10 Aug, Juan Mata will start a new season in the Premier League against Leicester at Old Trafford. The domestic competition is the only trophy left to conquer in the English football.
