West Ham dents United hopes to play Champions

United lost in its visit to West Ham (3-2) and now City just needs a point in the final game to finish fourth. Juan Mata assisted Martial in the first goal for United. Since his debut in the Premier League has assisted 40 times, a record just break by Silva.
Manchester United chances to play Champions next year are almost gone. Mata’s team lost in its visit to Boleyn Ground (3-2) and returns the initiative to City. If Pellegrini’s men add a point they will secure the fourth place, no matter what happens at the United-Bournemouth.
Juan Mata participated in the first goal for United, in the 51 minute crossed the ball perfectly to Martial who equalised the game 1-1. Soon after, another combination with Rashford was nearly finished by Ander that shot wide. Since Mata’s debut in the Premier, back in 2011, Juan has assisted 40 times. Just Silva breaks that record in the same time.

Anthony Martial also scored the 1-2 for the Red Devils but West Ham overcame the result with two goals within minutes. Mata started the game on the right but after Herrera’s substitution moved to a more central role.
