Manchester United lost at the London Stadium against West Ham 2-0. After beating Leicester and Astana, the Red Devils were looking to win another three points, but goals from Yarmolenko and Cresswell provoked the visitor’s defeat.
Mata was a starter for the third consecutive time in the Premier. Juan, author of a goal in the last league win against West Ham, played 81 minutes in which he was one of the most dangerous players of United. The International Spaniard was very close to scoring after a great pass by Andreas Pereira and his passes, both long and short, had all the intention in the world.
After the Yarmolenko’s goal just before half time, United had options of evening the match. Apart from Juan, Maguire and Lingard were very close to scoring before Cresswell, with a great free shot, made the definitive 2-0.
