Like last year, Juan has taken advantage of the coming of these dates to make a visit to children with problems. He has been in two centers in Manchester, where he has given toys away while talking with the children.
Juan Mata, a footballer with many concerns off the pitch, is often involved in solidarity causes. Now, with the arrival of Christmas, it is a good time to spent time to disadvantaged people. As he did last year at this time, the Spanish footballer has spent a good time with children in some centers of Manchester. Juan has talked to them and given them toys.
“I am very fortunate to be in a position where I can help people. Days like today, in which we bring smiles to the children, are fantastic”, declared Mata. A known person gives the toys to the player, who distributes them in Oviedo (through the city´s team and some centers) and in Manchester (with the collaboration of the United Foundation).

The centers he visited to deliver the toys, were Wood Street Mission and Zion Community Centre. The boys welcomed Mata with a warm applause as they chanted ‘Glory, glory Man United’. One more year, Juan has taken advantage of the arrival of the Christmas period to accompany people with difficulties. An activity that makes him a special illusion.
