Manchester United added their eighth match without losing after this tie at Goodison Park against Everton (1-1). On the 28th game week of the Premier League, the home team went ahead on the scoreboard thanks to Calvert-Lewin (minute 3). Bruno Fernandes, on the 31′, made the goal for the Red Devils.

Juan Mata, who had a great performance on Thursday in the Europa League, came in on the 72nd minute. The Asturian footballer participated in the best chance for United in which they nearly won the match. A pass from him to Bruno Fernandes ended with a double intervention by Pickford (attempts of Fernandes and Ighalo). However, it was Everton who had the last chance. David de Gea and the VAR – goal cancelled for offside – avoided the 2-1 in a gameplay of extra time.
In the last eight games, the Mancunian club has added five wins and three draws. A good streak that they will try to continue on Thursday, in the round of FA Cup against Derby County.
