Welcome to the home of English football

Today I’m writing from London. We have landed here from Granada after Saturday’s game against Macedonia. We are staying in a hotel just opposite the stadium and from my room I can see this historic venue where I have had very exciting moments.

We needed to win like this

The team needed a win like this one. And so did you. We went to play Swansea with a need to recover once again after a negative result during the week, as we showed from the kick-off.

Improvement goes unrewarded

I’m writing to you at the end of a typical Autumn Sunday in Manchester, with the night arriving earlier after the clocks have gone back by an hour. The Winter season is approaching… The day has been quiet and I’ve been thinking a lot about Saturday’s game, arguably one of the weirdest draws of my career.

Tough day, but we must carry on

I’ll be honest: it’s been a tough day, with a final score that hurts, and this isn’t the best time to write these lines. Things got complicated since the first minute.

Game at Anfield, a special date

This is a special blog entry, it’s different because I’m writing this on the eve of a game and not after it. And, as you can imagine, this isn’t just a football match. We are in Liverpool, resting in the hotel, looking forward to this Monday and hoping that it’s going to be a great day for us.
