Hi everyone,
This week we are playing on Monday, so I can’t talk about the game we’ve played, but rather those which are to come. Today’s match is very tough. Tottenham have been one of the most solid and competitive teams in recent seasons, and to be able to say that in the Premier League is really something. It is a huge challenge and I am sure that Old Trafford is going to help us a lot, as the fans have on so many other occasions. We are really up for playing this game at our stadium, in front of our fans and to put in a good performance from the first minute until the last.
Beyond that, Thursday brings with it the Champions League draw. There will be 32 teams involved, and although there are still play-offs still to take place, we are already looking forward to knowing who will be in our group. It is the best club competition in the world and we will work hard to be at our best when it kicks off.
At the weekend, we pay Burnley a visit in another difficult game, but honestly, this is not what we are thinking about right now. Our minds are focused on Monday’s game and trying to take three important points.
Thank you for all of your support, as always.
Juan
PS: I want to congratulate the Spain Women’s Under-20 side for a great World Cup tournament. Second place is a huge achievement for a generation of players that I am sure will give us plenty more to talk about. And, of course, congratulations to Japan as the new world champions and to England for coming in third place.
